  If |types| is absent, the encoded length will be correctly encoded according to the DER definite-form (X.690 (2015), 8.1.3-8.1.5 & 10.1).

  • bool indefinite_form = 1

    If |indefinite_form| is set, it causes the length to be encoded using the indefinite-form encoding (X.690 (2015), 8.1.3.6).

  • bytes length_override = 2

    If |length_override| is set, the literal value from |length_override| will be used as the encoded length. This also accounts for incorrectly-encoded DER lengths (e.g. non-minimal encodings).
