View/edit binary Protocol Buffers messages
ComponentRange is the range of versions of one component's wire formats a binary supports.
Used in:
component names the part of the binary that owns the formats, such as "view", "fabric", "fabricx", or an application's component.
min is the lowest version this binary uses on the wire.
max is the highest.
Preamble is what a node tells a peer about itself when a stream or connection opens, after the transport has authenticated the peer. Fields are only ever added, never renumbered, retyped or removed, so every release can read the preamble of every other.
fsc_version is the FSC module version, as `node version` reports it.
vcs_revision is the VCS revision the binary was built from.
framing_epoch is raised only when the framing of view packets on a stream changes. Two nodes of different epochs cannot exchange view packets and refuse each other.
ranges lists, per component, the versions of its wire formats this binary supports.
