Will truncate bytes beyond the expected size. / Metadata should come from a trusted source or be compiled into the application. / Assets are uniquely identified by their hash. For a loggable ID, log the asset_group or / <asset_group>-<version with underscores>-<first hex digits of first 6 bytes of sha512 hash>
